Foals Rush In - a series

-- About the Series --
The inspiration for this series came from some art I saw that had an unfinished look to it. I wanted to maintain this raw feel in both execution and finish. This group was designed for a miniatures show called "Positively Petite" which limited the size. I love having parameters which shape/direct the work. This series will likely grow by a few more pieces.

-- Technical details --
The body is Creative Paperclay over a wrapped wire frame. The sculpture was then primed in a black base. Gesso, Golden Fluid Acrylics, and Holbein's Acryla Gouache paints were used to colour each piece. The pieces were then sealed using Krylon UV Archival Matte Varnish.
